1. Vision

The 1st Key Component is what we call The Vision ComponentTM. Strengthening this component means getting everyone in the organisation 100% on the same page with where you’re going and how you’re going to get there.

2. People

The 2nd Key Component is The People ComponentTM. Simply put, we can’t do it without great people. This means surrounding yourself with great people, top to bottom, because you can’t achieve a great vision without great people.

3. Data

The 3rd Key Component is The Data ComponentTM. This means cutting through all the feelings, personalities, opinions and egos and boiling your organisation down to a handful of objective numbers that give you an absolute pulse on where things are.

~ Measurables ~

4. Issues

The 4th Key Component is The Issues ComponentTM. Strengthening this component means becoming great at solving problems throughout the organisation – setting them up, knocking them down and making them go away forever.

5. Process

The 5th Key Component is The Process ComponentTM. This is the secret ingredient in your organization. This means “systemising” your business by identifying and documenting the core processes that define your way to run your business – getting everyone on the same page with what the essential procedural steps are in your core processes and then getting everyone to follow them so you create consistency and scalability in your organisation.

6. Traction

The 6th and final Key Component is The Traction ComponentTM. This means bringing discipline and accountability into the organisation – becoming great at execution – taking the vision down to the ground and making it real.

The EOS Model

To the degree you focus on strengthening all these six components as leaders and managers, everything will fall into place.

Once the first 3 Components are strong; Vision, People and Data, you start to create a lucid, transparent, open and honest organisation where everything becomes more visible and you start to “smoke out all your issues” which leads us to strengthening the last 3 components.

There are hundreds of ways to strengthen The Six Key Components of your business and thousands of books that provide instruction for strengthening aspects of each component. So you can do this – you can strengthen your business and catapult it into the top 5%.

That said, if you want the benefit of our obsession and years of working with leaders and managers, with over 10,000 hours of honing and refining and perfecting the best 2 tools to strengthen each of The Six Key Components, we simply ask you to let us help you. Our passion, the sole existence of EOS, is to help people get what they want from their businesses.
